Lace Bobbins
The bobbins for sale here
have been hand painted and spangled by me. They are classic Birchwood bobbins in
either Traditional or Fancy Midland style. Every bobbin has been sealed, painted
and subsequently top coated, at least twice, with a durable varnish which does
not discolour. I use my own bobbins for lace-making and find them resilient in
normal use. All spangle beads are glass (unless otherwise indicated) and are on
brass wire.
